More about Tints and Graphics

I was surprised to learn people are interesting in seeing the printer we use to create the graphic for our image tinting projects. You can see it when you click on image 25 on our Yelp page. As you can see, it’s a pretty big printer. One reason we got it, though, is that here at Perfect Window Tint, we like to find more and more ways to apply our skill. It’s not enough to be good at tinting windows (although we are certainly proud of our skill there).

Window Tinting and Graphics

Every once in a while you get to do something in your line of work that has what some people call the “Wow!” factor. (You know, when people see it, they say, “Wow!”). For me, it is what we can do to produce images with window tint. It’s a “wow” because people typically don’t think of tint as being used to make images on glass. But you can definitely do it.

Window Tints and Suit Fabrics: What's the Difference?

Ever purchase a suit? If you've not done it, then you should know that there is a lot more to it than simply walking in the door and saying, "Gimme a gray one." You have to pick styles, you have to make decisions about alterations, and, of course, you have to make a choice about how much money you're willing to spend on this thing. But before you're done with the whole process you're going to plunge into the wonderful world of fabrics. And what a world it is! Colors and weights and feels, all of which will have a big impact on how your suit looks.

Decorate Your Property with Window Tinting, But Not On the Outside

People are often surprised when I remind them that window tinting is a way to add a decorative effect to interior glass. For most people, I guess, the traditional way of thinking about how window tinting commercial property is used blocks out other ways of thinking about uses of window tint. It’s one of those things, I suppose.

Tint the Inside Glass of Your Property

In the winter it is hard to get people to think about window tinting. It is not something the people ordinarily think about this time of year. I understand that but I'm of the opinion that this is the best time of year to do just that. If you make the decision to have your windows tinted on your commercial property now, you have the best opportunity to have me consult with you about the process (Later on in the year, it will be harder for me to accomplish that.)

Window Tinting and Magic Tricks

My last post of the year is about demonstrations. I do them for people sometimes. More often than not, I do them now for people who come into the office to talk to me about window tinting. I’m not saying that I leap from my desk to inflict them on any unsuspecting prospect that falls into my clutches, though. I’m just saying that I will sometimes want to make a point to someone who’s not really grasping the value of having their windows tinted.

Why Not Just a Couple of Guys and a Truck?

I’m in favor of business owners who want to run a lean shop. I like people who are working on in their businesses, on their businesses, so energetically that they’re not putting any money on things they don’t really need. But I think you have got to know where to stop.

So when a fellow asked me, “Why all this overhead? Why not just a couple of guys and a truck,” I knew the answer to those questions. It’s because I know the difference between saving money and foolish economy. Having an office is a sign of seriousness, of stability. And that’s important to me.

What Should You Do in the New Year for Your Building?

It’s true most of us are thinking about the holidays. Shopping, wrapping, eating, all the things which make the holidays so much fun. This is not the time for most of us to be thinking about commercial real estate. But let me suggest for some of you this is the perfect time to think about it. You don’t have to do anything right now, of course, but you can think about it.

Why Did He Tint His Windows?

People typically come in to have their windows tinted for a simple reason. They want to reduce the amount of heat coming into their automobiles or they want to enhance the appearance of their cars. Both of these reasons are good, solid reasons. I encourage people who make their tinting decisions because of them.

It's All The Same Stuff, Right?

So I sometimes wonder if people know that the changes you see in the technology around us apply to the world of window tinting as well. It occurs to me that people may think that the window tint they had applied 20 years ago in the driveway by the guy who was working out of the trunk of his car is the same kind of tint I’m putting on windows today.
